Statement of Faith
Our faith is founded upon the Holy Scriptures and centered on the person and finished work of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, given through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme and final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21The One True God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Equal in glory, power, holiness, and majesty, He alone is worthy of all worship, honor, and praise.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, revealed the Father, performed mighty miracles, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father, where He continually intercedes for His people. We believe that He will return again in power and great glory.
Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25Salvation
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His atoning sacrifice and the power of His resurrection, those who believe are forgiven of their sins, born again by the Holy Spirit, reconciled to God, and receive the assurance of eternal life.
John 3:3–7, 16; Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5The Blood of Jesus Christ
We believe that the precious Blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the redemption of mankind. Through His Blood we receive forgiveness of sins, cleansing from all unrighteousness, reconciliation with God, and victory through His finished work on the Cross.
Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:20; Hebrews 9:22; 1 John 1:7Water Baptism
We believe that every believer should publicly confess his or her faith through water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:16; Romans 6:3–4The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a gift from God, empowering believers to live victorious Christian lives, boldly proclaim the Gospel, and minister effectively according to God's calling. We also believe that the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit continue to operate in the Church for the edification of the Body of Christ.
Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Galatians 5:22–23Divine Healing and Deliverance
We believe that Jesus Christ still heals the sick, restores the brokenhearted, delivers those in bondage, and transforms lives through the power of the Holy Spirit according to His perfect will.
Isaiah 53:5; Mark 16:17–18; James 5:14–16; Hebrews 13:8The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all who have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, strengthen believers through fellowship, and demonstrate the love of Christ through faithful service and compassion.
Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Peter 2:9The Lord's Supper
We believe that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Jesus Christ as a sacred remembrance of His sacrifice. Believers are called to partake of the bread and the cup in reverence until He comes again.
Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We eagerly await His coming and are called to live holy, faithful, and Spirit-filled lives as we prepare for His return.
John 14:1–3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:13The Resurrection and Eternal Destiny
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will enjoy everlasting life in the presence of God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
John 5:28–29; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 20:11–15“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”1 Corinthians 3:11
